Cancellation terms are governed by your contract with Path-iQ and, for in-app purchases, by the policies of the relevant app store. This page summarises the general approach. Where your written contract contains specific cancellation terms, those terms control.

01Scope

This Cancellation Policy applies to Path-iQ subscriptions and engagements — including enterprise subscriptions billed directly by Path-iQ and any subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play.

02Enterprise cancellation

To cancel an enterprise subscription, contact rahul.wasnik@pathiq.cloud in writing. Include your contract reference, the requested effective date, and the name of the contract signatory or an authorised representative. We will acknowledge within 2 business days and confirm the cancellation in writing.

03In-app subscriptions

Subscriptions purchased inside the Path-iQ mobile apps are billed and managed by the relevant app store. To cancel:

  • iOS / App Store. Open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, select Path-iQ, then tap Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Android / Google Play. Open Play Store → Profile → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions, select Path-iQ, then tap Cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Cancelling an in-app subscription stops the renewal but does not delete your account. To delete your account and personal data, see Account & Data Deletion.

04Notice period

Enterprise contracts typically require written notice within the period defined in the contract (often 30–90 days before the renewal date). Cancellations submitted after the notice window may take effect at the end of the following term. Specific terms apply to multi-year commitments.

i Plan ahead. If you intend to cancel at the next renewal, submit notice early to avoid auto-renewal.

05Data export

On cancellation, customers may request export of their case data, audit logs, and reports per the contract data-export terms. We support exports in standard formats (DICOM-compatible WSI metadata, JSON audit logs, PDF reports). The export window is typically 30 days from the cancellation effective date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Self-service exports are available in-app for individual users; large-scale exports are coordinated with your customer success contact.

06Data deletion

After the data-export window closes, customer data is deleted in accordance with the contract and any applicable retention obligations. Some records (signed-out reports, audit logs, billing records) are retained for the regulatory minimum even after deletion of the broader dataset. See our Privacy Policy — Retention for detail.

07Effect of cancellation

  • Active users lose access to Path-iQ at the effective date.
  • In-flight cases are returned to a read-only state for the export window, then deleted.
  • Push notifications stop.
  • Outstanding invoices remain due. Refunds, if any, are governed by our Refund Policy.
  • Sections of the Terms that survive (IP, disclaimers, liability) continue to apply.

08Reactivation

If you wish to reactivate within the data-export window, contact us — we can usually re-enable access without data loss. After the deletion period passes, reactivation requires a new onboarding.

09Contact

For cancellation requests, contact rahul.wasnik@pathiq.cloud.
